For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation" (Romans 10:9-10).
5). HOW DO I RECEIVE THIS FREE GIFT?
You must ask Jesus to forgive you of your sins and to become yourLord and Savior. Making Jesus your Lord means that you put Him first in your life. Making Jesus your Savior , means that you believe that Jesus died, so you could be forgiven.
Below is a prayer that you may pray and ask Jesus to come into your heart and life. This is the true plan that God has for your life.
|Lord God. I come to You a sinner and I humbly repent of my sins. I believe that Jesus is Lord and I believe You raised Him from the dead. I ask that Jesus will come into my life and be my Lord and Savior. I receive Jesus to change and take control of my life that I may live for Him from this day forth and from now on. Thank You Lord Jesus for saving me and cleansing me with Your precious blood. In Jesus name, Amen.|
If you have called on the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, and have said that prayer or a prayer similar to it in your own words, and have believed it with all your heart, you are saved! Words mean nothing without belief. If we truly believe, we will let Christ change us, and we will rejoice to live for Him each and every day.
