Jesus was rebuking the religious leaders of His day because they refused to hear the truth. Jesus told them that the devil was their father because they refused to love Him and believe that God had sent Him. They instead chose to follow after Satan's lies.
This is true of everyone that rejects the salvation that only Jesus Christ can bring. There are many religious movements, false teachers, and cults that are following after Satan the master of deception. These lies of Satan are leading billions astray!

There is no truth in Satan. Everything that he has anything to do with is a lie. This is why we all need to be on guard and know some things about Satan so we will not be tricked or deceived when we come across one of his lies.
Do you know for
sure who your Father is? There are only two to choose from: God
or Satan.

Important point: Most of the lies that Satan comes up with are intended to keep people from accepting Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior.
