WHAT IS THE MEANING AND
PURPOSE OF LIFE?

Want to know the answers to mankind's most
asked questions about life?
Here they are:

Question Number One: Who Am I?
The Bible says that you were fearfully and wonderfully made by an Almighty God that knows everything there is to know about you. His name is the Lord Jesus Christ. He created you with a spirit, soul and body as a unique living being with a free will. Jesus loves and cares for you beyond description. In fact, He loves you so much He gave His own life for you.

Question Number Two:
Where did I come from?
The Bible says "Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created" (Revelation 4:11). Jesus Christ is the creator of all life and upholds all things by the word of His power. God's word (the Bible) teaches that you are here by design and there is a plan and purpose for your life.

You are not here because of random chance, but rather because an awesome God gave you the gift of life. You were created for God to love you and you in return to love, serve, and worship Him. This is great news; everything that Almighty God created has a purpose. He has a plan for everyone no matter what age or race you are.

Question Number Three:
Why am I here?
You were created to have a personal relationship with God your creator. To worship, serve, love and cleave unto God.

But there is one problem. The Bible teaches that every man, woman, boy and girl is separated from God because of sin. "For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God"; (Romans 3:23). No one can get to heaven in this sinful state. No one can ever reach God. It doesn't matter how hard you try to be a good person; sin will always keep you separated from God. If you remain separated from God when you die, "the wages of sin is death" (Rom 6:23). This is talking about hell. You must first be forgiven so you can stand before a holy God and be allowed entrance into heaven. God is good; He has not left us without hope. God sent His only begotten Son (Jesus) to die for our sins so we could be brought back into a relationship with Him. "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life" (John 3:16).

Three days later Jesus rose from the dead! He overcame death!
One day everyone who has died will also be raised from the dead - those that believe in Jesus to everlasting bliss in heaven, and those
who have rejected Jesus to everlasting torment in hell.

Question Number Four: Where am I going when I die?
This leaves us with two choices, either heaven or hell. We all need to make our own decision. You may be thinking, I don't want to go to hell separated from God in my sins; instead I want to go to heaven?

The Bible says: repent ye, and believe the gospel" (Mark 1:15b). "Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved",(Acts 16:31a). You must ask Christ to forgive you and be your personal Lord and Savior so you can become a child of God.
Believing in Jesus is not just knowledge of Him; it is a change of heart. This kind of belief is a total commitment to Jesus that changes your life forever. Repentance is turning away from sin and allowing Christ to work in your life.

Choose Christ - Choose Life
Jesus wants to save every person that He has created, but can only save those who come to Him by faith. Don't wait till tomorrow to accept Him into your life. Do it today! For if you die before you make Jesus your Lord, it is then too late. Your chance will be gone forever.

THE LORD
JESUS CHRIST
IS THE ONLY
WAY TO
HEAVEN!

Don't Wait - Today, Jesus is calling you to come to Him; "I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me" (John 14:6).

Will you receive His wonderful gift of salvation?

"That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved" (Romans 10:9).

To receive Jesus Christ into your life right now just do the following things:

1). Admit to God that you're a sinner (Romans 3:10).
2).
"repent ye, and believe the gospel" (Mark 1:15). Repentance is a heart determination to quit sinning and start obeying God. When you truly repent, God's saving grace is free to act on your behalf.
3). Believe that Christ died for your sins, was buried and rose from the dead (1 Corinthians15:3-4). You must have faith in Jesus and Him only for your salvation.
4). Pray and invite Jesus Christ to come into your heart and life and forgive you of your sins (Romans
10:9-13). Ask Him to be your personal Lord and Savior.
5). Make Jesus your Lord by trusting in Him and giving Him control over every part of your life (Romans 12:1-2).

YOU CAN HAVE ASSURANCE

If you have sincerely repented and have humbly called on the name of the Lord Jesus Christ by faith, believing and asking Him to save you, you are saved! Words mean nothing without belief! If you truly believe, you will allow Christ to begin working in your life so you can fulfill the plan He has for you. "And hereby we do know that we know him (Jesus), if we keep his commandments" (I John 2:3).

Four very important steps to take as a new Christian seeking to grow in the Lord:
1). Read the Bible daily (a good place to start is in the New Testament with the Gospel of John).
2). Pray daily.
3). Find a Bible-believing church that preaches the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ. Pray that God will lead you to the right one. Fellowshipping with other believers is a very important step to growth in Christ.
4). Obey God's commandment and be baptized.
