Jesus is called God and Lord; KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS; Jehovah; Emmanuel; mighty God; the true God; the Alpha and Omega; the Amen; "the I am"; the Word of God. He is the creator of all life and by Him all things consist. He is heir of all things and upholds everything by the word of his power. All power in heaven and in earth is His. His name is above all names and one day all will have to bow and confess His Lordship. All the fullness of the Godhead dwells in Him, and He has all the divine attributes. He has the right and power to forgive sins, to raise the dead, to be the judge of all man, and will return in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. He has the keys of hell and of death. He is worthy to be loved, praised, worshipped, adored, obeyed, and served by all of His creation. In another lies no greater love , neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.

Jesus was God the Son, He is from everlasting. Yet He chose to leave the beauty of heaven and die on the cross to save men from their sins. There is no greater love than this!
