To make Jesus Christ your Lord means that you must put Him first in your life. This means to obey, trust, serve and worship Him with all our hearts, souls, minds and strength. After all, He is our Creator and is worthy of everything. "Ye shall walk after the LORD your God, and fear him, and keep his commandments, and obey his voice, and ye shall serve him, and cleave unto him"(Deut 13:4). This will take time and can only be done by the Holy Spirit who comes to live in us and guides us when we receive Christ. |

The Christian walk is not always an easy walk. It is a life of denying ourselves and taking up the cross and living daily for Jesus. There will also be trials and tribulations. But through them all Christ will be with us. "For he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee" (Hebrews 13:5). The Christian life is also a life of happiness, joy, and peace; it is the only way to fill the void in one's heart. It is a true comfort of knowing that we will one day be in heaven with Jesus. |

Dear Lord God. I come to You a sinner and I humbly repent. I believe that Jesus is Lord and I believe You raised Him from the dead. I ask that Jesus will come into my life and be my Lord and Savior. I receive Jesus to change and take control of my life that I may live for Him from this day forth and from now on. Thank You Lord Jesus for saving me and cleansing me with Your precious blood. In Jesus' name, Amen. |
If you have called on the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, by faith, believing and asking Him to save you, you are saved! Words mean nothing without belief! If you truly believe, you will humbly allow Christ to begin working in your life so you can fulfill the plan He has for you. The Bible says in 1 John 2:3, "And hereby we do know that we know him, if we keep his commandments". If we truly know Jesus Christ as our personal savior, we will KEEP His commandments and our hearts desire will be to SERVE Him in any way we can. |

1). Read the Bible daily (a good place to start is in the New Testament with the Gospel of John). 2). Pray daily. 3). Find a Bible-believing church that preaches the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ. Pray that God will lead you to the right one. Fellowshipping with other believers is a very important step to growth in Christ. 4). Be Baptized. |
