JESUS CHRIST - THE RISEN LORD!
Do you have hope and assurance of what will happen after death? The sad fact is that every one dies. There is no escaping death. But there is good news! There is a living almighty God in heaven that loves you and has overcome death. He is the God that has put death under His feet. He is God’s almighty Son. His name is the Lord Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ is the Creator of all life. He is the one and true God that gives life, both now and in the life to come. But there is one BIG problem. All of mankind (every man, woman, boy and girl) has sinned against God and has separated themselves from Him.
GOD LOVES YOU! God loves you and me so much that He did not want His creation to remain separated from Him, so He had a wonderful loving plan to break down this wall of separation. God sent His only begotten Son Jesus to pay the debt of every person’s sins. Around two thousand years ago Jesus willingly left heaven to be born and eventually give His life on a bloody cross as the sins of mankind were laid on Him. He shed His blood and gave His life for the forgiveness of your sins. Jesus the Son of God was the only one that ever lived a perfect and sinless life and was the only one acceptable in God’s eyes to provide the ultimate sacrifice of shedding His blood once and for all. “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life” (John 3:16). There is no other sacrifice needed for you Jesus is God’s gift to us. to be forgiven and restored back to God. Jesus died for all of us and has paid our debt of sin in full. There is no greater love than this! “In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace”; (Ephesians 1:7) THE CONQUERER OF DEATH JESUS’ TOMB IS EMPTY! This good news gets even better! After Jesus’ death, He was buried, and on the third day He rose from the dead! He lives again! Jesus has conquered sin, death and hell because of who He is. HE IS GOD. Jesus said; “I am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death”( Revelation 1:18). After 40 days of appearing to his disciples and over 500 other people, Jesus ascended back into heaven from which He came, and now sits at the right hand of God the Father. Ten days after Christ’s ascension to heaven His disciples began proclaiming the good news that Jesus rose from the dead. Multitudes of people believed and were converted. If the tomb was not empty, do you really think multitudes of people would have believed and accepted Christ as their Lord? The fact is – JESUS CHRIST ROSE FROM THE DEAD! All but one of these same disciples died a horrible martyr’s death because of their faith in the resurrection of Christ. Who in their right mind would die for a lie? Jesus is the living Lord and Savior! He is the Creator and the One who died for all of us and has miraculously risen again so we can also be raised up one day. You see the God of the Bible made it very simple for you. He gave you a choice; you can believe in Him and overcome death, or you can reject His free gift of eternal. The Creator died for you and me, His creation. life and remain separated from Him and all that is good for all eternity. If you choose to reject God’s free gift you will have to pay the wages for your own sins. “For the wages of sin is death”; (Romans 6:23). One day, death and hell will be cast into the lake of fire that burns forever. This will be your eternity destiny if you reject Christ’s free gift of salvation.
A NEW GLORIFIED BODY
Death is mankind’s enemy and Christ will destroy it. One day soon there will be no more death or sorrow! Oh death where is thy sting? Oh grave where is thy victory? Death and the grave will no longer be our enemies. You do not have to fear what may be in the afterlife – THAT IS, IF YOU BELIEVE AND SUBMIT TO THE LORD JESUS CHRIST!
HOPE IN A LIFE THAT LASTS FOREVER What better way than to leave your soul in the hands of the one who created it and the only one who has the power to raise it up again. Our soul was created for eternity, not for this short life. In this life we are all to make our own decision. Yes, this life may be hard, but today you can begin a new life in Christ Jesus. You can be assured of your place in heaven. “And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away” (Revelation 21:4). One day if you know Jesus you will have a resurrected and glorified body like He did – WHAT GREATER HOPE IS THERE THAN THIS? JESUS IS THE JUDGE OF MANKIND “And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment”( Hebrews 9:27). If you refuse to hear ONE DAY YOU WILL STAND BEFORE ALMIGHTY GOD! the Son of God’s voice before you die, one day you will hear it. This time you will not be able to ignore His voice because you will be raised and there will be nothing you can do about it. Jesus said; “Marvel not at this: for the hour is coming, in the which all that are in the graves shall ear his voice, And shall come forth; they that have done good, unto the resurrection of life; and they that have done evil, unto the resurrection of damnation” (John 5:28-29). There is only one way to do good in this life. This is to repent and ask God to forgive you of your sins so you can have peace with Him. “Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out”, (Acts 3:19a). You must ask Jesus to be the Lord of your life and be determined to forsake your old ways and live entirely for Him. This is what it means to do good in God’s eyes. If we strive to do good works but leave Jesus Christ out of them, this is what God says about our works: “But we are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousnesses are as filthy rags”; (Isaiah 64:6a). JESUS IS THE ONE AND ONLY WAY TO LIFE IN HEAVEN FOR ALL ETERNITY. “Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me” (John 14:6). This merciful and loving God is reaching down to you because He wants to have a personal relationship with you. Does what you believe in now make you happy? Does it fill the void in your heart? Most important of all, do you have assurance of what will happen to your soul after death? Jesus is the only one who can fill that empty void in your heart because He is the one that created your heart. He will raise you up after death, but He also wants to give you a new life starting today. Why? Because He loves you! It must be your choice. Will you submit to His Lordship today? “Jesus said; because I live, ye shall live also” John (14:19). All God wants in return from us is to believe, trust and obey Him. All He wants from us is to live for Him so He can live through us. What a privilege that is. “He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him” (John 3:36). Whatever you choose in this life, one thing will happen. YOU WILL BE RAISED FROM THE DEAD and be brought before the judgment seat of the Almighty God of the whole universe. You are surely reading this tract by divine appointment, because Jesus Christ loves you and has made a way for you to learn about Him and hear His Gospel, so you can make a choice. You no longer have an excuse. If you reject Jesus Christ, you will go into eternity lost in your sins, only to be raised and thrown into the lake of fire for all eternity separated from Almighty God. Choose Christ today and you will have chose life for all eternity. He is standing at the door of your heart to fill the void in your life. Will you let Him in? Jesus is saying to you; “Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me” (Revelation 3:20) JESUS IS THE ONLY ONE WHO CAN SAVE YOU! The Bible says in Romans 10:9-10; “ That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him(Jesus) from the dead, thou shalt be saved”. If you are ready to submit to the Lordship of Jesus Christ so He can save you from sin and hell, ask Him to come into your heart and life and be your Lord and Savior. Just do the following things:
What you can pray. Remember that the attitude of your heart is God's main concern: Dear Lord God. I come to You a sinner and I humbly repent. I believe that Jesus Christ is Lord and I believe You raised Him from the dead. Come into my life Jesus and be my personal Lord and Savior. In Jesus name, Amen.
YOU CAN HAVE ASSURANCE FOREVER! If you have called on the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, by faith, believing and asking Him to save you, you are saved! Words mean nothing without belief! If you truly believe, you will humbly allow Christ to begin working in your life so you can fulfill the plan that He has for you. The Bible says in 1 John 2:3; "And hereby we do know that we know him, if we keep his commandments” If we truly know Jesus Christ as our personal savior, we will KEEP His commandments and our hearts desire will be to SERVE Him in any way that we can. Very important steps to take as a new Christian seeking to grow in the Lord: 1). Read the Bible daily (a good place to start is in the New Testament with the Gospel of John). 2). Pray daily. 3). Find a Bible-believing church that preaches the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ. Pray that God will lead you to the right one. Fellowshipping with other believers is a very important step to growth in Christ. 4). Obey God's commandment and be baptized. 5). Worship and serve God only; “Thou shalt have no other gods before me. Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth”: Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the LORD thy God am a jealous God”, (Exodus 20:3-5a).
