MANKIND'S MOST IMPORTANT QUESTIONS

1). Am I good enough to get to heaven?
 The Bible says; NO!
"As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one: (Romans 3:10); and For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; (Romans 3:23); Sin has separated mankind from a holy God. Everyone is guilty of at least one sin; (lying, stealing, cheating, pride, lust, hate, putting yourself ahead of God are examples of sin).

2). What is the penalty for my sins?

 The Bible says; Hell!
"For the wages of sin is death (in hell);" If a person dies without being saved from their sins they will have to pay the wages for their sins. This is hell for all eternity.

Mankind is always trying to get to God by doing good works, moral living, sacraments, baptism, church going; etc. No matter how hard we keep trying to reach God through these rituals we cannot get to Him, because we are separated from Him and lost in our sins.

We must realize we need someone to save us!!!

 There is good news!!!
"
but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord" (Romans 6:23).

3). Will God Receive Me? Yes!!!
God has a wonderful plan of salvation!
"But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us" (Romans 5:8);

4). How Can I Be Saved?

We must understand that we cannot save ourselves.

God knew before He ever created the world that imperfect man could never achieve perfection by himself. He had the one and only solution. Only a perfect man could reconcile the world to God and bring life. That perfect one would be born and give his life shedding His precious blood on a horrible cross to pay the price for the sin of the world. That man is Jesus Christ the Son of God. Almighty God was willing to sacrifice His own Son, so that we can be spared from an eternity in hell. After Jesus died and was buried, three days later He rose from the dead. He overcame death! Jesus promised: "because I live, ye shall live also" John 14:19.

We must realize that Jesus Christ is the only one that can save us! There is no other way! "Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me" (John 14:6)

   The Bible tells us:

"repent ye, and believe the gospel" (Mark 1:15). You must repent and ask Jesus Christ to forgive you of your sins, for without His forgiveness you remain separated from Him. Repentance is a heart determination to forsake sin. When you truly repent of your sins God's saving grace is free to act on your behalf. God wants you to believe in him and call on his name. "That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation" (Romans 10:9-10).

5). How do I receive this free gift?

Jesus will become your Savior when you let Him be your Lord.

You must repent and ask Jesus to forgive you of your sins. You must ask Him to be the Lord and Savior of your life. Making Jesus your Lord means that you put Him on the throne of your life and He becomes first place in your life. Making Jesus your Savior means that you believe that He died on the cross and shed His blood for the forgiveness of your sins.

If you are ready to submit to the Lordship of Jesus Christ so He can save you from sin and hell; ask him to come into your heart and life. Just say a simple prayer like the one below meaning it with all your heart. This is the true plan that God has for your life.
Lord God. I come to You a sinner and I humbly repent of my sins. I believe that Jesus is Lord and I believe You raised Him from the dead. I ask that Jesus will come into my life and be my Lord and Savior. I receive Jesus to change and take control of my life that I may live for Him from this day forth and from now on. Thank You Lord Jesus for saving me and cleansing me with Your precious blood. In Jesus name, Amen.

If you have sincerely repented and have humbly called on the name of the Lord Jesus Christ by faith, believing and asking Him to save you, you are saved! Words mean nothing without belief!
If you truly believe, you will allow Christ to begin working in your life so you can fulfill the plan He has for you.
The Bible says in 1 John 2:3, "And hereby we do know that we know him, if we keep his commandments". If we truly know Jesus Christ as our personal savior, we will KEEP His commandments and our hearts desire will be to SERVE Him in any way we can.

FOUR very important steps to take as a new Christian seeking to grow in the Lord:
1). Read the Bible daily (a good place to start is in the New Testament with the Gospel of John).

2). Pray daily.
3). Find a Bible-believing church that preaches the
Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ. Pray that God will lead you to the right one. Fellowshipping with other believers is a very important step to growth in Christ.
4). Be Baptized.
